Why#

Part of the ALX Software Engineering programme's low-level track: a Unix shell and a Monty bytecode interpreter, both written in C without a framework or a standard library shortcut.

How it works#

The shell parses and executes commands the way a real Unix shell does, handling built-ins, PATH resolution and process control. The Monty interpreter reads a custom bytecode format and executes it against a stack. Neither is meant for production use; both were an exercise in memory management and getting the fundamentals right by hand.
